7/8/2009 - PedDrugDose Online went into beta today.  This is a web-based application which has most of the functionality of the PedDrugDose desktop program and this preview is free.  Doses can be calculated and prescriptions prepared in very much the same way as with the desktop application.  Key limitations in this preview:

• Only OTC medications and several prescriptions medications beginning with 'A' are included in this free version
• Prescriptions can only contain one medication.

• There will be a Professional online version of PedDrugDose available for a small subscription fee (probably $10/yr per computer) which will contain all 250 medication/dosing combinations.
• There will be a free online version for parents with OTC medications.  This can be done in the current online preview but it is geared more towards the provider.  This will be more parent friendly and will print dosing cards rather than prescriptions.

• Try it out and let me know if you find any bugs, have any feature requests, what you think a fair subscription fee would be, etc.
